Probably the most neglected aspect of property maintenance is inspection and regular clearing out of debris that falls into the gutters. Failing to ensure your gutters are clear and in a healthy state of repair can lead to blockages, which when left unchecked can cause thousands of pounds of damage, as water coming from the roof has nowhere to go it can end up coming inside your property.

But the damage isn't limited in to internal walls and ceilings, the gutters are being supported by brackets that themselves can become overloaded, this can result in gutters themselves, or the soffit and fascia boards they are  secured to, coming away from the roofline and falling onto whatever or whoever happens to be below.
